What is a Recovery Coach?
A recovery coach is someone who provides strength-based support for anyone experiencing a substance use or mental health disorder. It is different than counseling because it often someone who is in recovery that can teach you the skills needed to stay in long term recovery. We recommend case management and counseling services to increase your chances of success.
Benefits of a Recovery Coach:
- They are often in recovery and have “been there” and “done that.”
- They can provide more individualized support and accountability.
